Career Goals

I plan on working for State or Government Programs to work on projects involving the design of parks, government buildings, and other key elements in city design to bring a little more natural life to the endless seas of concrete we have. After building my portfolio and gaining the experience I need I hope to open my own practice to hold my own all included Landscape Architecture firm.

My Hobbies & Interests

To match the aesthetic I do enjoy most that is dark and dreary, there's a special place in my heart for thunderstorms and horror stories. I also enjoy art of all kinds; in contrast to what I present, watercolours are my favourite medium because I love the colours I can get, and mixing them gives me joy. You can definitely ask about those works, but they are mostly awful; as much as I love watercolours, it is my worst medium; I do much better with my charcoal and pencil mediums. I do take commissions for that too if you like my work enough, although I don't know what Kind of price to put on those. I am also an avid reader, so please give me recommendations if you have any. I love anything from high fantasy(Especially if it has dragons) to quick mysteries and sci-fi, and could spend full days buried in a book if no one stops me. Apart from reading, I do write; short stories and poetry help me de-stress, and if I ever have the time, I might finish my novel. In true Latina fashion, I love to cook; I make most of my recipes from the heart. I often joke I let my ancestors guide me in measurements, but I generally cook intuitively. I make mostly traditional Mexican cuisine, more specifically from the south of Mexico where my family is from, and indulge in any kind of pasta from every other culture as well. If you truly wish to win my heart, though, my first love is bread; especially growing up with Mexican sweet bread pastries and desserts will win me over every time. The last important part of me is my love for the outdoors; nature has always given me peace, which is why I want to go into the career I do. Every aspect of nature is beautiful to me: the changing of seasons, the diversity, the interconnectedness of everything, all the critters and creatures, especially the creepy crawlies, and even the stillness of the trees, the swaying of the grass; nothing makes me feel as loved as nature.
